iMultiply Refreshes its Commitment to Charity.

New Beginnings.

At the end of 2022, after 5 successful years with our charity partner, iMultiply decided it was time to start fresh with our commitment to give back to our local community. After a series of difficult years for everyone, we knew there were hundreds of people out there we could be helping. With the cost of living rising throughout 2022, we realised the importance of supporting causes that address people’s access to the most basic necessities, things no one should be without. So we’re starting down a new path.

Introducing HSS.

As a small business, we are invested in contributing to the ecosystems we are a part of. We’ve founded “Help Scotland Scran”, an initiative committed to helping people struggling to feed their families in Scotland. The causes of food scarcity are varied and complex, so we have partnered with charities across Scotland who approach this issue holistically, supporting their communities to not only address food deprivation, but its causes and consequences. We are extremely proud to be starting a partnership with Community One Stop Shop (COSS) in Edinburgh and The Halliday Foundation in Glasgow.

iMultiply are delighted to have the opportunity to support our new partners and the important work they do. For those who are not familiar with their story, here is a bit about them:

Community One Stop Shop – COSS

Community One Stop Shop (COSS) has worked to alleviate the effects of poverty and deprivation in the Broomhouse area of Edinburgh and beyond since 2002. COSS takes a multi-layered approach to helping the local community, providing welfare and employability advice, and operating a self-referral food bank and accessible pantry, amongst other outreach initiatives targeting various age groups and areas of need in the community. COSS supports people in crisis situations, who lack the access and ability to find help through any other means. The name truly encompasses what COSS is all about- a single space, ready to support its community through any kind of hardship.

The Halliday Foundation.

The Halliday Foundation, founded by Chris Halliday, started out with nothing more than a shopping trolley and the desire to help Glasgow’s needy. It is now a fully fleshed effort, operating a food bank, housing and wellbeing initiatives, and an accessible café that saves food that would otherwise go to waste. Dedicated to ending homelessness and its impact on people, The Halliday Foundation provides immediate support and long-term advice to those who have reached a critical point in their lives, working to be the difference in the community. The Foundation collects food items, homewares, and toiletries from which bespoke packages are put together and provided to people in need.

Where does iMultiply come in?

If you’re familiar with our work, you may already know our commitment to giving back in embedded into our business. Every time one of our consultants makes a placement, a percentage of the fee goes to charity. This allows us to support our partners continually throughout the year and make sure we live up to our values. Beyond that, we have been hosting the now famous iMultiply Big Charity Quiz for years. The fantastic people we work with- employers, candidates, friends, have helped us make a meaningful impact by coming together once a year to quiz it out.

This year is no exception, The Big Charity Quiz is back for 2023!

April 6th is the day you’ve been waiting for! We are back at Revolution Bars in Edinburgh for another fantastic quiz, so it’s time to start brushing up on your general and not-so-general knowledge. With a fantastic prize list you can see here, a delicious menu waiting for you here, and the fabulous stylings of our host Colin Mackenzie, it’s a huge success waiting to happen!

Get a team of 6 ready and book a table here, tickets are only £15 per person. We cannot wait to see you all again- all details on the event through this quick link.
