AUTONOMY x FLEXIBILITY x IMPACT = US

Unlike other recruitment consultancies, we focus on forging long term relationships with customers, rather than just treating each job as a transaction. That’s why our consultants receive bonuses based on customer satisfaction rather than slavishly hitting KPIs.

It’s a life/work balance

Our Values

Roy Disney, older brother of Walt and the person who guided the business side of their company, once said
“It’s not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are.”

Our values aren’t just words on this website. We have taken time to define our values and they are part of everything we do. They form an integral part of our internal recruitment process, they are used as measures in our performance reviews, and we regularly celebrate and reward those who outshine. And we think that being a values-led business makes our team, and you our customers, happier.

INTEGRITY:

  • To operate and communicate with transparency
  • To take responsibility
  • To manage expectations

INCLUSION:

  • To listen with the intent to understand
  • Identifying unconscious bias
  • Working collaboratively

INNOVATION:

  • To be curious
  • To find creative or unusual solutions to a problem

We are growing at a fast pace. As a result, we are currently looking to hire the following positions:

Public Practice Recruitment consultant

The iMultiply Public Practice team recruits accountancy professionals for positions within accountancy firms throughout Scotland and North West England.

Our customers range from the household names of the ‘Big Four’ multinational accountancy practices all the way through to small and medium-sized local independent firms.

We recruit across all disciplines within the Public Practice space including Audit, Business Services, Tax, Corporate Finance, Corporate Recovery/Insolvency, and Payroll – and at all levels from part-qualified trainees to Directors and Partners.

Due to the successful year experienced by the wider iMultiply business and by the Public Practice team in particular we are now looking to grow the team by adding an additional Consultant to manage and grow the Edinburgh part-qualified market.

The role is for a ‘360’ Consultant meaning that as well as searching for and identifying suitable candidates the jobholder will also be liaising with our customers’ hiring managers and internal recruiters, maintaining and strengthening those relationships as well as developing new ones.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and engaging with suitable candidates through effective use of the CRM system, LinkedIn, advertising/marketing, CV databases, referrals, headhunting, and networking

  • Conducting registration interviews in order to ascertain candidate suitability for specific vacancies and to understand the candidates’ work history, skills, experience, motivations, and preferences

  • Matching candidates to live vacancies and introducing the candidate to the customer with the aim of obtaining an interview for the candidate

  • Proactively promoting candidates to customers on an ‘opportunity hire’ basis

  • Liaising with both parties in setting up the interview process

  • Preparing the candidate for interview

  • Providing interview feedback to both parties

  • Handling salary negotiations and the offer process

  • Point of contact for customers looking to recruit part-qualified vacancies in Edinburgh and the East

  • Taking job briefs, attending agency briefings, and managing client relationships

  • Attending networking events and seeking out business development opportunities

  • Developing relationships with hiring managers, HR departments, and internal recruitment contacts

  • Involvement in marketing activity and assisting with running events

  • Working closely and collaboratively with other areas of the business

Successful applicants will have the following experience:

  • The role is open to graduates and to non-graduates who have work experience in other sectors e.g accountancy or sales
  • Attributes will include excellent written and verbal communication skills, an inquisitive nature, good listening skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritise, and an advanced level of commercial awareness

On Offer:

This is a unique opportunity to join a highly successful team that can offer a warm and well-established desk and will provide excellent training, mentoring, and support. The Public Practice team has a wealth of knowledge and experience and the successful candidate will work closely with all members of the team.

The role comes with a competitive remuneration package and an industry-leading bonus scheme.
