THE ORGANISATION
The organisation is a UK-based multi-site business operating within the broader industrial or manufacturing sector. Currently undergoing a restructure, it is committed to strengthening its finance team to support operational needs.
THE ROLE
The Interim Finance Manager is a vital support role, working alongside the existing Finance Manager during a critical change phase. This temporary position assists with month-end reporting, cashflow management, process optimisation, and team knowledge transfer. An integral part of the finance team, you will help maintain controls, provide analysis, and support business decision-making. The role is designed to ensure operational continuity and team stability while change is implemented.
- Support management reporting and financial controls.
- Assist with cashflow forecasting and treasury activities.
- Help review and improve finance systems and processes.
- Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to deliver key outputs.
- Provide cover and support during a period of restructuring.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Possesses 3+ years in a senior finance or management accounting role.
- Demonstrates strong technical knowledge of management reporting, compliance, and controls.
- Experienced in cashflow forecasting and working capital.
- Adept at using finance software and Excel at an advanced level.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, supporting without direct authority.
- Able to adapt quickly with minimal onboarding.
- Holds a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or is Qualified By Experience.
- Has worked with invoice finance facilities or stock reconciliation.
- Has supported finance restructuring or organisational change.
- Experienced with finance systems like SAP, Oracle, or ERP platforms.

This fixed-term, temporary role, 3-6 months offers the opportunity to support a UK-based business through a significant transition. Working closely with senior management, you will gain exposure to a diverse set of financial responsibilities, from reporting to process improvements.
