Personal Tax Assistant Manager
We are working with a highly regarded firm of tax specialists who are looking to appoint a Personal Tax Assistant Manager to join their growing private client team.
This role has a strong private client focus, with responsibility for a varied and interesting portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals. The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of personal tax matters, including residence and domicile planning, inheritance tax (IHT) and wider advisory work.
There is genuine scope to develop your technical exposure, and the firm encourages involvement in complex and value‑adding projects. For candidates who are interested, there is also the opportunity to gain exposure to corporate tax work, although this is entirely optional and dependent on individual preference.
Key responsibilities:
• Managing a portfolio of high‑net‑worth private clients
• Personal tax compliance and advisory work
• Involvement in residence, domicile and IHT planning
• Liaising directly with clients and providing a high level of service
• Optional exposure to corporate tax work, if desired
The ideal candidate:
• Has a solid background in personal/private client tax
• Is ATT and/or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience)
• Enjoys working closely with clients and building long‑term relationships
• Is keen to develop technically within a specialist tax environment
