Senior Corporate Tax Manager

About this Role

Our client is a leading international tax adviser to many of the largest multinational companies operating in the UK. Clients include numerous household names across a broad range of industry sectors (excluding Financial Services). The work is high‑profile and technically challenging, offering opportunities to advise on major corporate transactions and international projects.

There is a need for a Corporate Tax Senior Manager in Manchester or Leeds who thrives on complex technical work, enjoys building strong client relationships, and is motivated by developing and leading high‑performing teams and a clear track to Partner. Candidates will need a strong track record in delivering and managing complex international and corporate tax projects within a multidisciplinary environment.

Your day
  • Build trusted relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients while delivering high‑quality tax services as part of integrated client teams.
  • Take a leading role in shaping client accounts and contributing to the broader direction of engagements.
  • Work on a range of significant one‑off projects, including major corporate transactions and cross‑border tax advisory work.
  • Provide international and UK tax advice, as well as supporting the audit of tax for large multinational groups.
  • Apply and develop your technical expertise in a stimulating environment, supported by a strong network of corporate tax specialists, Managers, and junior team members.
  • Strengthen your client‑facing skills, leadership capabilities, and specialist knowledge in areas such as international structuring, finance and treasury tax, operating models, or specific industry sectors.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders and Partners on key client engagements, benefiting from exposure to some of the most respected practitioners in the field.

This role is for you if you have
  • A UK professional qualification (e.g., ACA, CTA, solicitor) or an equivalent overseas qualification.
  • Significant UK and international corporate tax advisory experience, ideally including work on complex transactions.
  • Strong analytical skills, adaptability, and the ability to work across multiple client teams simultaneously.
  • A proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience managing projects, delegating effectively, and leading teams.
  • A commitment to your own development and the development of those you work with.
