Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Musselburgh
Contract Type: 3 Months
Salary: up to £32,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Full time, with flexibility and hybrid options
 
Overview

A well-established organisation is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to take ownership of their AP function. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of financial operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including invoice processing, payment runs, and supplier account maintenance.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume transactions in line with company policies and procedures.
• Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead month-end close activities related to Accounts Payable, including accruals and reporting.

 
Skills Required:
 

• Extensive experience in Accounts Payable
• Strong working knowledge of financial systems and ERP platforms
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and other reporting tools.
