THE ROLE
As a Senior Tax Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and preparation services across personal tax areas. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure accurate advice and effective solutions. This onsite role offers excellent exposure to complex tax matters and opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and manage tax compliance deliverables, including self-assessment, capital gains tax, and CIS.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver tailored tax advisory services.
- Stay current with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance.
- Prepare tax documentation that is thorough, compliant, and professional.
- Support workflow efficiency and meet deadlines for tax submissions.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through consultative engagement.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are seeking a tax professional who is detail-oriented, organised, and equipped with strong technical knowledge. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with both compliance and advisory work and eager to deepen expertise in personal taxation.
Mandatory
- Proven experience in tax compliance and preparation.
- Knowledge of personal tax areas such as self-assessment, capital gains tax, and CIS.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and financial statements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Awareness of current tax legislation changes.
Preferred
- Professional qualification such as CTA, ATT, CA, or ACCA.
- Experience working with tax and accounting software.
- Exposure to advisory or consultancy services within taxation.
- Ability to identify client-specific opportunities for tax savings and solutions.
- Proficiency in compliance tracking tools and systems.
