Scope of the role
As a Private Client Tax Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of private client accounts, ensuring accurate compliance and providing strategic advice. You will lead technical assignments, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business growth initiatives. Your role will involve working closely with partners and building strong client relationships.
- Manage end-to-end tax compliance for diverse private clients, including compliance review and submissions.
- Deliver technical advisory projects on estate planning, inheritance tax, capital gains, and income tax.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify cross-service opportunities and develop new clients.
- Supervise and support junior team members, fostering their development.
- Keep abreast of tax legislation updates and implement changes within client strategies.

- CTA qualification preferred or equivalent management experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK personal tax, inheritance tax, and estate planning.

- Ability to review technical work and guide junior staff effectively.
- Experience working within a multi-site or multi-national firm.
- Background in tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and family offices.
