The role

 

This role can be tailored to fit your career goals. Whether you want to focus on audits, accounts, or a hybrid mix, you’ll be supported by a hands-on management team. You’ll work directly with clients, support junior colleagues, and take ownership of a range of assignments from planning to completion.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Leading and supporting audits, including planning, fieldwork, and completion
  • Preparing statutory financial statements for a variety of clients
  • Managing on-site audit work and guiding junior team members through complex areas
  • Building and developing strong client relationships
  • Providing technical support and insights to colleagues and clients
  • Supporting the training and development of junior staff
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and completed to a high standard
  • Managing your time and workload effectively, including admin and timesheets

 

About you

 

  • You’re a qualified accountant (ICAS/ACCA/ACA) — part-qualified candidates will also be considered
  • You’ve worked in an accountancy firm for at least 2 years
  • You have strong experience in audit, accounts, or both
  • You’re proactive, team-focused, and confident working directly with clients
  • You’re detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • You’re looking to grow in a firm that values your ideas and initiative
