Unlocking More Value Through Tech, AI and Automation – iMultiply’s Story so far…

One of the three founding principals when iMultiply was founded back in 2012 was “Challenge convention, continually innovate and raise standards in the recruitment industry”.

Earlier this year, we had already started to help customers and the broader finance community to better embrace the world of AI and technological improvement, through off-shoots such as FIN (Finance Innovation Now) and The Fractional Quarter.  However, we were very conscious that whilst helping others embrace new tech, we weren’t doing as much internally as we could do.

iMultiply’s Automation Journey

That’s why we decided to reallocate one of our senior recruiters (Stuart Cadger) to spend half of his time purely on driving digital transformation inside our own business. This wasn’t a ‘tech hire’—it was someone who already knew our culture, our clients, and what recruiters really need to perform at their best.  And who was interested in and passionate about just how tech could help.

The early progress has already been fantastic, so we wanted to share more.  For example:

  • Through interviews and internal discussions, we identified NINE key friction points that slow down or distract our team.
    • These are now being addressed, so the team can spend MORE time speaking to employers and finance professionals, and less time doing admin.
  • Automations have been launched to clean data and eliminate wasted effort.
    • Meaning our team can now better track and understand quickly the individual needs and wants around potential new roles from both employer and candidate perspective.
  • CRM inputs and field mappings have been redesigned to unlock powerful new functionality.
    • Taking that understanding even further in terms of “is this role perfect enough to warrant contacting that individual”

But this isn’t about humans vs. machines—it’s about humans and machines, working together to elevate the experience for every stakeholder.

In Stuart’s own words;

“When I started this new role I thought my purpose was simple. To create an environment where every team member, employer and candidate has a BETTER experience whenever they interact with iMultiply.  In an effort to do that, I’ve had to have a mindset shift, from “what can this tech do for me?” to “how can I work with it to make us all better?  But I’m delighted to say that effort has already begun to pay off.”

Build live dashboards, embrace continuous learning, experiment with AI further, and share our wins along the way.

We’re still early in this journey—but by rethinking how we work, we’re confident we’ll deliver more value for our clients, our candidates, and our people.
