Payroll Analyst

iMultiply are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to join the growing payroll team of a well-known, national accountancy practice.

You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality payroll services, building and maintaining client relationships, and supporting the ongoing development of the team.

The Role

• Manage the timing and delivery of payrolls for your client portfolio, ensuring all processes meet agreed standards and deadlines.

• Process payrolls and supervise internal resources, using the Bureau Management System to monitor workflow and compliance.

• Lead payroll projects and drive efficiencies through identifying and implementing process improvements.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing queries and ensuring satisfaction with services.

• Collaborate with Managers to identify training needs and support coaching and development across the team.

• Provide clear day-to-day supervision, offering regular feedback and support to team members.

• Handle all client payroll correspondence and respond to queries promptly.

• Monitor and action employee and employer enquiries within agreed timeframes, escalating as required.

• Lead onboarding and implementation processes for new payroll clients, ensuring a seamless transition.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pension setup and administration requirements.

• Proven experience in a payroll-focused role

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Strong initiative and problem-solving capabilities

• High level of numeracy and attention to detail

• A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude

• Confident building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
