THE ROLE
This is a hands-on leadership role with strategic oversight and operational responsibility.
- Lead and develop a small finance team
- Oversee management reporting, budgeting, audit, payroll, and grants
- Drive process improvements and system efficiencies
- Partner with budget holders to improve financial literacy
- Contribute to strategic planning and organisational growth
- Deputise for the Director of Finance & Corporate Services
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You’ll be a qualified or experienced finance professional with a passion for purpose-driven work.Mandatory:
- CCAB qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
- Experience managing teams and improving processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Charity or third sector experience
- Sage 50 familiarity
- Knowledge of VAT legislation
- Experience in grants or impact reporting

- Salary: Up to £53,000
- 35h full time hours
