This Manager opportunity sits within a collaborative Corporate Tax team supporting a wide mix of UK and international companies. You wi/l take ownership of a varied client portfolio, leading both compliance and advisory work across industries ranging from technology and manufacturing to retail, real estate, hospitality and professional services. If you enjoy solving complex tax challenges, developing people, and building long‑term client relationships, this role offers breadth, autonomy and ongoing progression.
What you will do:
Lead & deliver corporate tax compliance
- Oversee the end‑to‑end corporate tax compliance process, including tax accounting and reporting
- Ensure high‑quality, efficient delivery across your portfolio
- Identify potential risks and opportunities, elevating them proactively
Advise on high‑value technical matters
You will regularly handle challenging technical queries and provide solutions across areas such as:
- Complex capital allowances
- R&D tax relief; Transfer pricing; Substantial Shareholdings Exemption; Controlled Foreign Companies; Corporate Interest Restriction and Withholding Tax & double tax relief
- Support from specialist colleagues is always available, but your technical confidence and judgement will be instrumental.
Spot & shape advisory opportunities

Identify and develop advisory projects within your client set.

Contribute to one‑off technical assignments across multiple tax specialisms.

Build deeper expertise in sectors or technical areas that interest you—whether that’s international structuring, creative industries, property, tech, or something more niche.
Develop & lead others

Manage, mentor and review the work of junior team members.

Help shape the development and growth of the wider tax team.

Foster strong relationships across internal teams and client contacts.
You will be a great fit if you bring:

ACA/CTA (or equivalent) qualification with several years’ post‑qualification experience.

Strong UK corporate tax technical knowledge.

The ability to analyse complex issues and present clear, commercial solutions.

Confidence managing deadlines, budgets, and multiple projects.

A client‑focused mindset and the ability to build trusted professional relationships.

Strong communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal.

A collaborative approach and genuine interest in developing colleagues.
