THE ROLE
This is a versatile Part Qualified Accountant role supporting the finance team’s daily activities. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and interact with senior leaders. Your work will cover a broad range of finance tasks, providing valuable experience in a global environment.
- Perform bank reconciliations, including multi-currency transactions
- Assist with month-end management accounts and reconciliations
- Support payroll processing and accounts payable functions
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Support external audits and VAT compliance
- Manage daily bank statement checks and payment runs
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You should have a solid foundation in finance and a keen desire to grow within the profession. The role is suitable for someone early in their career, studying towards an accounting qualification or eager to start.
Mandatory:
- Demonstrates strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Confident in Excel and experienced with accounting systems like Xero, Sage, or Quickbooks
- Has some experience in month-end, reconciliations, reporting, or transactional finance
- Familiar with VAT rules and general ledger transactions
- Works proactively and manages tasks independently
- Communicates clearly with colleagues and stakeholders
Preferred:
- Has a degree or is studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
- Has exposure to multi-currency accounting and international transactions
- Has experience supporting payroll or managing supplier payments
