The role
As an M&A Manager, you will take a leading role in managing and delivering high-quality merger and acquisition advisory services. You’ll support clients through deal origination, execution, and post-deal integration, focusing mainly on mid-market businesses with enterprise values up to £50m. Your expertise will help shape strategic growth plans, facilitate transactions, and build strong client relationships.
- Lead M&A transactions from initial research through to completion, including disposals, acquisitions, and buyouts.
- Develop financial models, business plans, and valuation analysis to support transactional decisions.
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage stakeholder negotiations.
- Identify new deal opportunities through market research and client outreach.
- Present strategic recommendations confidently to clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and regulatory compliance to ensure smooth delivery.
The ideal candidate

- Qualified ACA, CA, ACCA, or CPA.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in lead advisory M&A roles within professional services or corporate finance.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Proven track record managing end-to-end M&A transactions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with UK GAAP and IFRS financial standards.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data analytics tools.
- Knowledge of automation and finance data systems like SAP, Oracle, or Netsuite.
- Exposure to business transformation or post-merger integration.
- Background working with private equity or venture capital clients.
- Ability to identify opportunities and develop new business initiatives.
