THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing finance team with exposure to key financial processes. The position will allow you to make a meaningful impact and develop your skill set further.
- Support month-end close processes and prepare management accounts.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to inform business decisions.
- Prepare variance analysis reports and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Maintain financial controls and support statutory compliance requirements.
- Work closely with other departments to enhance finance processes and reporting.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in finance and a proactive approach to driving improvements. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills.
Mandatory
- Relevant finance qualification or part-qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Experience in preparing management accounts and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in using financial systems and tools, along with strong Excel skills.
- Knowledge of financial controls and compliance requirements.
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience in a multi-site or group structure.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or similar finance software.
- Prior exposure to budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Understanding of UK GAAP or IFRS reporting standards.
- Confidence in presenting financial findings to non-finance stakeholders.
