Group Credit Manager

The Group Credit Manager will have ownership of the Hunter group credit management function.  This covers operations in UK, EMEA and North America.  Responsibilities will include administration for all B2B accounts with careful analysis and control of exposures in line with the group’s credit management policy, ownership of group wide credit insurance and adherence to policies set within this program, direct supervision of 2 senior controllers and cash and receipt forecasting.  The ability to build key customer relationships will be critical, as well as forecasting future risk and credit limit exposures to allow for forward planning of optimal trade combined with timely cash collection and minimal bad debt.

This is a hands-on role, with strong technical ability required to play a significant role in the financial management of the business. 

The ideal person for this role will have previously worked extensively in a credit environment, ideally within the retail sector and with exposure to global markets including North America. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong business partnering skills and will be able to proactively drive change and process improvements. You will enjoy working in an incredibly fast-paced environment and be adaptable to changing priorities; effectively managing your workload and the demands of the business.

The ability to build long lasting relationships is a must, as well as being able to influence and guide internal stakeholders. You will possess very advanced excel skills and have experience manipulating large data sets and working with forecasting and reporting software tools, with strong knowledge of ERP systems.
