Young Enterprise Scotland has been inspiring & helping young people to learn, develop and reach their highest potential through enterprise since 1992. Every year YES supports over 10,000 young people to develop business knowledge, entrepreneurial skill, and become top, employable talent.
Young Enterprise Scotland’s work is supported by over 500 volunteers from the business community in Scotland, who help realise their vision for Scotland to be a place where all young people have the opportunity to experience a rewarding future in work/life – no matter where they start their journey. The core of their belief is ’Enterprise for All’, and it is achieved by their delivery of a wide range of programmes to ensure work can reach ALL young people.

Business and Finance Support Manager
The Business and Finance Support Manager holds a crucial role within YE Scotland, responsible for supporting and managing the financial and administrative functions of the organisation. Their primary objective is to increase efficiency, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
The Business and Finance Support Manager role requires collaboration with stakeholders to develop and implement effective financial strategies. This role is best suited to an individual who is happy in a hands-on role and will gain a sense of fulfilment from the real, tangible impact their efforts will have on this company’s operation.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding, passion and enthusiasm for young people and enterprise education, and would benefit from a strong understanding of the Third Sector in Scotland in particular regards to education, entrepreneurship, enterprise & employability sectors
To be successful in this position, they must thrive on challenges and enjoy working in a busy, dynamic environment. A candidate with a problem-solving mindset, who can develop solutions and look to improve systems and processes whilst preparing and presenting monthly financial reports.
The role of the Business and Finance Support Manager will work in collaboration with all departmental managers preparing programme budgets, and complete financial reporting and planning that aligns to the organisational goals and objectives.
This is an exciting and challenging role and will provide an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to make their mark on the organisation and support a worthy cause for young people in Scotland.
The successful candidate will have a strong sense of integrity and an interest in creative collaboration.
