FIN was launched in 2025 in response to a clear and growing need within the profession. Finance teams were increasingly being asked to explore and implement AI and other innovations across reporting, forecasting, controls and operations but many lacked the practical knowledge, confidence and trusted guidance to do so effectively.

While the potential for AI and broader innovation was widely recognised, there was a gap in the market for practical, finance-specific support. FIN exists to bridge that gap, helping individuals and organisations move from awareness to confident, informed action.
